Ingredients
- 250g spelt flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 150ml water
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
Preparation
- Mix together spelt flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add water, honey and oil and mix vigorously.
- Leave dough to rest for 15 minutes.
- Turn dough out onto floured surface & flatten with hands to 2cm thick.
- Use cutters to cut out scone shapes and place on floured baking sheet.
- Bake at 220C/Gas Mark 7, for 10-12 minutes.
